It’s no secret that Oppo’s been working on a new Find X device to succeed the Find X it launched towards the end of 2018. The smartphone was first expected to be launched in 2019, however, several delays ensured that even in 2020 it remains anything but reality.
But if recent reports and the company’s own statements are to be believed then the phone could be very close to becoming real. And once it does, it may end up being quite exciting. This is according to a tipster on Weibo who has revealed some important information about the Oppo Find X2.
As per the latest leak, the Oppo Find X2 is all set to come to the market with a 6.5-inch QHD+ display with a highest possible resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. The tipster further claims that the smartphone’s display will come running at 120Hz refresh rate.

Thereby ensuring that the phone will support a maximum resolution of QHD+ with a 120Hz refresh rate -- something that Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S20 is rumoured to not be able to do.
The report comes after Oppo’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing, Brian Shen had taken to Weibo to share a teaser of the Find X2 earlier in the month. We also saw the founder and CEO of OPPO, Chen Mingyong also confirm the launch of Find X2 in an interview shortly after. At the time, he also added that the Snapdragon 865 chipset powered phone will bring an extraordinary 5G experience. The phone has also been confirmed to bring with itself a new flagship Sony sensor.
